colorstory designs began as a way for myself, Amy Gibson, and my best friend, Andrea Read, to be creative and have fun together. We met at an architecture firm in Seattle, WA in 2007, and began our small green design business shortly thereafter. At the end of 2010, Andrea needed to pursue a new job in Kansas City area where she works with a small organization that fights poverty throughout the world. Even though I've continued colorstory designs on my own, the original concept was created by both of us, and she is still my best friend and a huge part of my life!
Everything I make is made from recycled magazines- and I try to find the most colorful parts of the magazines to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art for you! My work includes picture frames, jewelry, wine charms, magnets, mirrors and shadowboxes. Everything is created by me in Tulsa, OK- where I live with my supportive husband Jason and young son Ben. I hope you enjoy looking through my etsy shop and please recycle- it's important!
